Sometimes, we need to take the first step and break away, even if just for a moment, in search of happiness.

This work is alive, constantly responding to the pulse of the Bitcoin network. It reacts to the fee rate of the latest block, meaning its movement and intensity shift throughout the day. When network fees are low, the scene is calmer, more fluid—almost meditative. But as fees rise, so does the energy of the piece. The higher the gas, the more agitated and dynamic it becomes, mirroring the network’s own surges of activity.

Every moment is unique, shaped by the ever-changing rhythm of Bitcoin itself.

In a categorization of people, acts, and things into squares, we realize that each day of our lives can be represented by a unique mixture. A composition that can be dense or light, colorful or not, reflecting the complexity and diversity of our experiences. The distortion and noise, layered over squares in seemingly random positions, add a depth that celebrates the beauty and unpredictability of life. Each square is a window to a moment, a memory, or an emotion, composing a mosaic of order and disorder, clarity and obscurity, highlighting how our lives are shaped by both moments of clarity and periods of confusion and uncertainty

The project consists of generative code written in p5.js and GLSL. The stacking and overlapping squares are part of my personal research on the categorization of moments, feelings, and experiences. Through rectangles, dense or not, that overlap and distort, I can convey an image of what a “day” filled with moments and experiences grouped together would be.

The project includes 22 color palettes and infinite possibilities for composition.

The sale of the work will be done on Highlight, and its minting will take place on the Base network.
